Congratulations to Rob Earnshaw. Earnie's six FA Cup goals means he shares the Silver
Boot award for the competitions top scorer with Arsenal's Silvain Wiltord. Wiltord failed
to score yesterday and Liverpool's Emile Heskey, who was on five goals, also failed to hit
the target. Earnie scored a hat tricks in the SKY Live match against Bristol Rovers, two against Cheltenham in round 2 and a he got a touch on Andy Legg's shot at Crewe in the third round round replay. Its ironic that Earnie actually wore silver boots earlier in the season but they were banned by Alan Cork I understand he is the first Div 3 player to win this competition. Congratulations. |
