Rob Earnshaw is in contention to be a joint winner of the Silver Boot, the
prestigious award given to the FA Cups top goal scorer. Earnie has scored 6 times in the competition this season and is joined by Arsenals Silvain Wiltord. Wiltord though will have the chance to increase his tally when Arsenal play Liverpool in the FA Cup final in Cardiff on May 12th. Emile Heskey is on 5 goals so could also have a say in the award as well. Good luck to Earnie, who's six goals came courtesy of a hat trick against Bristol Rovers in round 1, two against Cheltenham in round 2 and a deflected goal against Crewe in the 3rd round replay at Gresty Rd. |
