| April Headlines |
City could find themselves a Div 2 team by 4.50pm on Monday. Two wins and a dropped
point for Hartlepool would assure promotion for City. It may not even take that, The
combinations are many fold but the bottom line is if City win at Darlington tomorrow and
at home on Monday the promotion is assured. Even if Hartlepool win both of their matches
the goal difference they are behind us would mean the mathematical chance they have of
catching us is close on impossible. Niether game will be easy Darlington are still relegation threatened and Chesterfield still need points for promotion, if their 9 point deduction comes into effect they will need to win 2 / 3 games to ensure automatic promotion. Josh Low and Mark Bonner have travelled to Darlington, both were injured last Saturday against Torquay. The third player injured last week was Gavin Gordan. He misses out on the trip to Darlington. Also out is David Hughes the defender limped out of training yesterday. Matt Brazier and Scott McCulloch have both been added to the squad I am not in a position to do full updates over the weekend but I will put as much information out as possible. The chat rooms and the messageboard will keep you right up to date with all the action and news. C'mon City. The Blues are going up. |
