Over the last few years Cardiff City and February have been at loggerheads. So far
February is winning. City have not won a game in February since 1998. Hopefully that
record will be broken on Saturday when City entertain Scunthorpe. John Heyda has been weeping as he trawled the last few February's "City hasn't won one in February since February 17, 1998, when the Bluebirds pasted Mansfield 4-1 at Ninian Park. The winless streak began with three draws to round out February, 1998. February, 1999 produced three draws and a loss. February, 2000, three more draws and another loss. So far this month, we've had the Rochdale draw and Saturday's and todays losses. A grand total of 10 draws and four losses." Thanks for the stats John but it does not make it feel any better. Time to break the duck this Saturday methinks. |
