Leon
Jeanne is named in a strong squad to play Crystal Palace reserves at Ninian Park this
afternoon, 2pm. The City reserve team are in a strong position in the Avon Combination league. They are currently 6th after the matches played on Tuesday Dec 11th and win over Palace would see them leap to 3rd and overtake the Eagles in the process. City have a game in hand on all the teams above them and they are only 4 points off the top spot. Jeanne's return to action will spell the end of his torment of being out of action after being caught with drugs in his system. The Welsh FA gave him a suspended sentence and now he has one last chance to resurrect his career and make the grade with Cardiff City. The squad for the game is Mark Walton, Gethin Jones, David Hughes, Rhys Weston, Martyn Giles, Layton Mawell, Nicky Fish, Josh Low, Paul Brason, Leon FW, James Collins, Leon Jeanne. There will be a few other youth players on the bench. Table as off 11/12/01
