Blackpool FC have scuppered the chance of a second "beam back" event at
Ninian Park. The Tangerines have demanded an £8,000 fee for the rights. Last Saturdays event was a great success and there will be more matches covered this way later in the season. It will not always be possible to do this, 1, clubs will demand fees (Brighton to their credit did not), 2. the home team could want compensation for loss of revenue if City fans stay at home and do not travel. Each match will be taken on its merits. Can I again congratulate Mr Temme and his staff for a great day last Saturday. |
