Daniel Gabbidon was the goal scoring hero that ensured 3 points for City in an opening day celebration.

A days best crowd of 17,403 saw City blast an opening 20 minute slavo that was too much for Wycombe with Gabbidon's bicycle kick proving to be the winner.

City were in a match after that with both sides competing fully and Wycombe looked the more likely to score as the game wore on.

The referee was pants today and fortunately for City he blew the final whistle  before a misjustice was carried out.
