Sam Hammam has apologised in advance to fans who won't be able to get tickets to Cardiff City v Leeds Utd. Sam had tried to get the match switched to the Millennium Stadium so that upto 40 - 50,000 fans could come to the game.

Sam had stated his reasons for wanting the tie at the Millennium Stadium as being that he wanted to show the world how big Cardiff City are, to show the council how much a new stadium will mean to help the club towards the Premiership. To also attract thousands of people to Wales and give them all a chance to see the game.

The FA rejected the move and Sam has told the official website that he accepts their decision. He now feels we have a better advantage as far as pulling off a shock result.

"We apologise for all those fans we could not accommodate – they know now that we have tried."

He is also proud that Sky Television have selected this game as their prime time Super Sunday match.

Of course there are many fans who were objecting to the possible move. Cardiff City have a 20,000 ground and can accomodate a tie of this stature.

One thing for sure, it will be a massive day in the history of Cardiff City. Win lose or draw it will be a day to remember.
