City's Brian Tinnion was unhappy at last nights penalty decision against him. Speaking to
the Bristol press after the game Tinnion said "I clipped the ball first, then Bowen has gone on a few yards before stumbling and rolling over. The lads in the lounge said afterwards it definitely wasn't a penalty. It was one of many errors the referee made; I don't think he was very good at all and his linesmen weren't a great help to him either. They failed to spot things that were obvious, and gave things that weren't there. But we've battled back thanks to a great goal from Mickey (Bell) and we have to be pleased with that. The lads showed a lot of character and we have to take heart from the fact we didn't lose the game and that we're still unbeaten at home. We dominated the second half without really creating that many clear chances and Cardiff, to their credit, made it quite an uncomfortable night for us." |
