| July Headlines |
A
group of loyal Cardiff City supporters from Port Talbot have re-launched the Cardiff City
Supporters Club - Port Talbot Branch after a gap of almost 20 years. Port Talbot at one
time had 2 to 3 coaches going to all home games on a regular basis. A spokesman of the
group said, that since we first mentioned the idea of re running the buses the blue part
of the town is buzzing with excitement, with many fans who used to go on a regular basis
keen to renew their vows with Cardiff City. Since Sam has come to the club, there has been
an air of excitement around the town, with people proudly showing off their City shirts as
opposed to those of other clubs, whom we shall not mention. A local businessman is toying
with the idea of opening up a Supporters shop in the area, to cater for the rising demand
in replica shirts and club merchandise. A spokesman for the group said. "The future
certainly is blue in this part of the world". Buses will run on a regular basis for all home games, starting with the 1st home game of the season on Saturday August 11th v Wycombe Wanderers. The pick up points are as follows:. Western Ave chemist @ 12.30pm, The Vivian Hotel @ 12.40pm, The Plaza @ 12.50pm, The Taibach Mount @ 1.00pm, and The 12 Knights @ 1.10pm. Please contact
