| June Headlines |
The local press this weekend has been very quiet Cardiff City wise. Saturdays Echo
made no menton at all of the record breaking deal involving Spencer Prior. The news broke
on Friday so its a mystery why they never picked up on the story after they briefly
mentioned it in Fridays paper. The only City story was the possible involvement of Ian Stott, the former Oldham chairman, with Cardiff City. Stott was a big wig at the FA and it looks as though Sam could be bringing on board an old friend who knows how the game in the UK works. Sunday's papers did not go to over the top either, both the Wales on Sunday and the News of the World carried a brief story on Spencer Prior but nothing earth shattering. Most of the cloumn inches went to the British Lions. |
