City suffered a set back at Sincil bank
today. A Lincoln side who fancied the game more than City helped themselves to a 2 - 0
win. Both goals came in the last 18 mins and with Brighton winning 3 - 0 at home
(including former City player and Lincoln manager Phil Stant scoring their third) the
Bluebirds have dropped into 3rd place.
4th placed Hartlepool were only able to draw
today and they have closed the gap on City to 5 points. Once fancied Orient stay 10 points
behind City after losing at home but Blackpool continue to storm the division winning
handsomely today and moving into 5th spot just 7 points behind City. |
