City fell to a 15th minute goal from Bobby Zamora. The young striker scored after a City arror and that was enough to win the game.

For 70 mins Brighton were good for their lead but it was hard for both teams as the pitch deteriorated.

The last 20 mins were all Cardiff but great chances for Evans, Nogan and Brayson were kept out.

Gavin Gordan was sent off with 5 mins left for violent conduct. A very harsh decision according to those watching the big screen at Ninian Park. The slow mo replays showed a Gordan challenge on the keeper top be legal but after being intimidated by a Brighton defender Gordan moved his head and was determined to be "attacking" the defender.

Gordan until then had had only 15 mins on the pitch and did more that the inaffective Leo FW. Josh Low was awarded City man of the match but for my money Andy Legg only has to turn up to win every week.
