City have announced that there will be special travel arrangements for the away Worthington Cup trip to Millwall.

No tickets will be on general sale. Only members and season ticket holders will be sold travel tickets to go to Millwall on special buses from S Wales and London. Match tickets will be handed to fans on arrival at the ground.

Full details will be made available by the club next Wednesday.

This decision has been made between Millwall FC, the Metropolitan Police and Cardiff City. Both the local supporters club and the London based 1927 club have backed the plans.

City's main concern is the safety of the fans wishing to watch the game. They hope that supporters who want to go to the match will understand the need for such an operation. Fans safety is their prime concern and a repeat of the violence at both Ninian Park and the New Den two years ago must be avoided.

Those who have already purchased train tickets independantly maybe able to get a full refund. You must contact the club with proff of purchase of travel tickets and they will work with the rail companie to get your money back.

The club appreciate it is not an ideal situation but for this fixture all safety aspects must be taken into consideration.
