strong City XI won comfortably at Treowen Stars last night. Kevin Nugent scored twice, 16
year old Michael Hayward and Leon Jeanne scored the others. City were without Jason Fowler (suspended after his Llanelli red card), Mark Bonner (inj), Scott McCulloch (inj) and Matt Brazier (inj). Brazier is on the verge of a move to Luton as is Russell Perrett. Two clubs Luton and Bournemouth have offered a deal to Perrett, he will decide soon where to go. City line up. Kendall, Thompson, Jordan, Heall, Hughes, Jones, Hayward, Evans, Nugent, Nogan, Jeanne. Subs. Fish for Heall, Wallis for Hayward. Not used. Porter, Pascoe. Martyn Giles and Jamie Collins both missed the game as they were representing Wales U19, Giles played in a 4 - 1 win for Wales over the Faroe Islands. Collins missed the game with an injury. |
