Wycombe
Wanderers are likely to debut new striker Gavin Holligan at Ninian Park on Saturday. The
21 year old was released by West Ham and has joined Wycombe on a years contract. With Andy
Rammell and Germaine McSporran in the squad up after returning from injury Wycombe will
have a telling attacking presence. Last seasons beaten FA Cup semi finallists have been written off by most people in Cardiff. While optimism and confidence is high the City camp will not be complacent. Wycombe will be no pushovers and City will need to be alert and play to their strengths. Its been 46 years since we've entertained one of the previous seasons FA Cup semi finalists in the opening game of the new season. We won that 3 - 1 against Sunderland. The same this Saturday would be more than welcome. |
