Chesterfield have moved 16 points clear at the top of Div 3 after a 2 - 0 home
against Cheltenham. They are now 18 points ahead of City. We do though have 5 games in
hand and have to face Chesterfield at Ninian Park so they are catchable. With the Spirites now 21 points ahead of the play offs you must say that promotion is in the bag. Well done to Chesterfield for their on the field success. Its off the field that they have problems. Financial irregularities and possible ineligable players could cost them not only promotion but also their place in the league. |
