Alan Cork is still looking for more players before next months transfer deadline. He
needs a goalkeeper and a midfielder and the Club are actively looking for players. David Hughes signed yesterday to take City's spending to £2.6m this season but Cork is determined not to be caught out by injury or suspension and wants quality cover in all departments. The loss of Mark Bonner and the return to Arsenal of James Harper has left us exposed in midfield. City offered £10K a week to Carlton Palmer but the deal is dead. Mark Walton is the only experienced keeper at the club at the moment with Jon Hallworth retiring. City have invested a lot of money in quality youngsters and the future potential is immense at Ninian Park. These boys look like getting promotion this season and the we go into next season with a quality young experienced squad. Exciting times indeed.
