| December Headlines |
What a great way to finish 3 games at home in 8 days. The third consecutive win and a third game where we scored 3. This time there was no goals against either. City were in control from start to finish and can now sit back and enjoy the draw tomorrow afternoon and then have a couple of days off before preparing for the trip to Blackpool next Saturday. The biggest FA Cup crowd of the season were treated to a solid professional performace by a City team a league above Port Vale. Like last Tuesday it could have been 4 or five at half time. This weekend is match reporter NigelBlues' 40th birthday. He received an announcement over the tannoy and a two brithday cards, one signed by the whole squad and one personally signed by Sam. To cap it all Sam Hammam was driving away from Ninian park and stopped to wish Nigel a happy birthday as well. (I have pictures to follow of Nigel's day). Well done to Gavin Gordon who came into the side and helped himself to a goal. I can't pick out any individuals as they were all on top form and made easy work of Port Vale. Sunday, 3pm it just has to be one of the big names. It's our turn. I'm so happy. |
