Alan Cork has been made manager officially. While Corky was in full control of team selections and players the title manager was still pinned to Bobby Gould. That has now been changed and Alan Cork is manager of Cardiff City.

Bobby Gould will continue to work in the managment / coaching team along with Cork, Sam, Ian Butterworth and George Wood.

Cork accepts the buck stops with him now and he is looking forward to the new season. He also made a point of crediting Bobby Gould with getting Cardiff City back into the Avon Combination. Gould made a presentation on behalf of Cardiff City and beat off several other clubs who were trying to enter the league.
