mccall.jpg (9653 bytes)Stuart McCall has told www.ananova.com that he has not had talks with Cardiff City. The 37 year old Scottish International is unsettled at Bradford City after being told his wages were to be slashed. Suggestions were made over the last 48 hours that Cardiff were interested but that was denied yesterday by the club. There are conflicting reports as to whether Bobby Gould is interested, he has said McCalls name has been mentioned in discussions and another City website apears to claim that Bobby Gould has spoken to them confirming City's interest but McCall has put a stop to the rumours today by saying he has not spoken to Cardiff City. The former Everton and Rangers star is thought to be interesting 4 clubs. The suggestion was that Cardiff could offer a player / coach role.

Report from www.ananova.com
Bradford's Stuart McCall says he has not spoken to Second Division Cardiff
City.

The Bluebirds have been linked with a move for McCall as Sam Hammam tries to turn the club into a force.

McCall is known to be unhappy with a contract offer from Bradford which cuts
his wage by 60 per cent.

Bradford are slashing their wage bill as they prepare for life back in Division One, and McCall may be tempted by a move to Wales.

But he told Ananova.com: "Someone told me there was a report linking me with Cardiff in the local paper on Tuesday night. But I've not spoken to Cardiff."
