Chesterfield could become the first nationwide team promoted tomorrow. If the
Spirites win at Orient and Hartlepool fail to win at Southend then Chesterfield (league
action pending) would be promoted. Brighton in second spot travel to Halifax. Cardiff entertain Torquay and Hartlepool go to Southend. After that much else bears little relevance to the promotion scene. A Cardiff win and a Hartlepool defeat would just about ensure promotion, Hartlepool would have to win their remaining fixtures with City losing them all, its not going to happen. But first things first City will go up if they continue to win games, forget the other teams for 90 minutes, beat Torquay then we will look against at the other results and see whats needed. |
