U16's, inc several Cardiff City players, staged a remarkable comeback at Newtown's Latham
Park last night, in a Victory Shield international against Scotland. The Welsh boys were trailing 0 - 3 and 1 - 4 but managed to level from Cardiff City's Jon Kift as full time approached. Kift, the Welsh skipper, was joined in the side by City's other representative Stuart Fleetwood. Well done to both lads. Wales now play England at Wycombe's Adams Park ground before completing their campaign against Northern Ireland at Ninian Park. |
