Not the best way to end the season. Defeat and a sending off. While the outcome was irrelevant for City it still hurts to be beaten.

Earnie gave City the perfect start after 9 mins. But Hartlepool came back into the game and equalised before half time. Two more followed in the second half and the day ended on an even sourer not when Scott McCulloch was booked twice in as many mintutes and was sent off.

Thats it then for this season. Promotion, 95 league goals, Earnie scoring 25 goals, many happy memories.

So no action until pre seasons in July but the news will keep on coming. Thank you for your support over the last season and I look forward to a great season in Division 2.
