Michael Simpkins will undergo an expolratory operation in the coming week to asses the exact damage to his knee. Its feared he has damaged cruciate ligaments, if that is the case it would rule him out for the rest of the season.

Good luck to Michael and hopefully things will not be as bad as feared.

Peter Thorne has resumed light training but is still a couple of weeks away from playing. Its thought the FA Cup game against Tiverton could his first possible return date.
