The Bluebirds dropped to third place today after next weeks opponents Brighton picked
up a 1 - 0 win at Torquay to go second. Leaders Chesterfield only managed a 1 - 1 draw at
Barnet. Orient are now in 4th spot after a 3 - 0 home win over Halifax. 5th place is Rochdale with Southend in 6th after a 1 - 0 home win over Lincoln. 7th position belongs to Hartlepool, they are 8 points behind City in the last play off place. Blackpool in 8th had a cracking 6 - 0 home win over Scunthorpe. At the bottom Carlisle won 2 - 0 at home against Kidderminster, a result which saw them move off the bottom of Div 3. Exeter are now the team propping up the football league but only 4 points seperate the bottom 7 teams. |
