Butterworth has selected a strong attacking starting XI for the reserve team game against
Luton Town at Ninian Park today. The side, revealed on the official website, is Lee Kendall, Gethin Jones, Martyn Giles, Scott Young, David Hughes, Mark Bonner, Jason Bowen, Leon Jeanne, Kurt Nogan, Gavin Gordon, Matt Brazier. Jason Bowen and Leon Jeanne both saw action for City against Brighton and are favourites from this line up to get first team starts at Bristol City next week. Scott Young will play his second game after returning from injury and players like Nogan, Brazier, Giles and Kendall have all impressed in the reserves. City are unbeaten in 4 games with 2 wins and 2 draws. The have 8 points and are 9th in the table. Luton are in 4th place, 2 points ahead of City and are also unbeaten. Portsmouth currently top the Avon Combination league on 12 points but they have played a game more that City. Kick off today is at 2pm. The game was origianlly schedule for Wednesday 3rd of October but City offered Wales use of Ninian Park. Top half of table. (01.10.01)
