The capacity of Ninian Park has now been set officially as 20,000. The safety group that monitors capacity's have allocated 18,000 spaces for Cardiff City and 2,000 for away fans.

City's first real test will come on August 11th when City kick off the new season at home to Wycombe Wanderers.

Already over 8,000 tickets have been sold and that figure is expected to break through 10,000 in a couple of days.

The matches away at Peterborough and Millwall are all ticket games.

Tickets can be purchased on line from the official website or by calling  the ticket office hot line on 0845 345 1400.

City have been allocated 3,200 spaces at Peterborough (2500 standing and 700 seats) and 4,000 seats at Millwall.
