| March Headlines |
Billy Ayre has had to make several changes to the starting line up for tomorrows game. A training ground accident this morning has left Mike Ford and Jason Fowler needing stitches in head wounds. As a resuly Danny Hill and Jorn Schwinkendorf have been brought into the team. The fans have been calling for both players to get some action and nows their chance. Paul Brayson is also recalled after missing last Saturdays game at Reading. The starting line up for tomorrow will be Hallworth, Legg, Perrett, Schwinke, Faerber, Hill, Carpenter, Bonner, Bowen, Brayson and Nogan. While we remain in a relegation fight every match is huge. We are unbeaten in the last four games (2W, 2D) and with tomorrow being a home game we must go for the 3 points. Burnley are desperate for points for their promotion push. It will not be easy. After tomorrow we come across possibly the trickiest two away games of the season. Gillingham on Tuesday followed by leaders Preston next Saturday. Anything we pick up from those games will be a bonus. That makes 3 points tomorrow vital to our cause. There will be a fabulous atmosphere at Ninian tomorrow. Burnley are expected to bring upto 2,000 fans and they will have the Grange End and Block A of the Grandstand. With City's recent run of form I can see a crowd of at least 8,000 at the game. So lets get to Ninian Park. lets hope that Schwinke and Hill can prove to Billy that they should not have been left out of the team and lets hope for an enjoyable day for all with 3 points to the Bluebirds at the end of it. |
