French triallist Boninaheri Abassi dashed from Cardiff Airport and straight into yesterdays reserve game at Ninian Park in the Avon Combination Legaue Cup. Within 5 minutes the Frenchman had scored twice and went on to set up Chris Roberts to score City's third. Further news on the player is scarce. The Echo suggests he had a quiet game after that and limped on 55 mins. Whether we see him again is another matter. Is he Jerry Taihuttu all over again?
