Willie Boland has been sidelined for two months with a broken leg. Boland was injured at Barnet last Saturday. Firstly an accidental elbow cut open his face and he continued the game with a suspected broken nose. Later in the game a challenge left him with a suspected ankle injury and he hobbled off the pitch. It now turns out he has fractured his fibula and is City's main injury concern amonst many.

Good luck in your recovery Willie, the team captain has been on fire so far this season and he will be sorely missed.

Daniel Gabbidon was due to represent Wales U21 this weekend but has had to pull out of the squad after suffering a dead leg against Southend yesterday.

Jason Bowen is hoping to resume training next week after damaging ankle ligaments.

Josh Low, Andy legg and Dave Greene all checked into the treatment room today but all hope to be fit for the trip to Rochdale.

Gethin Jones has recovered from a leg strain.

City's other longer term injured players are

Russell Perrett, who is hoping to back within the next two weeks and Andy Thompson, who is out for another 2 - 3 weeks.

Congratulations to Rob Earnshaw who has been called into the Wales U21 squad. Not such good news for City as Rob will miss the game at Rochdale on Saturday.
