Pre
season training starts in 1 week. So far no new additions to the squad but upto 5 players
could be arriving. As it stands at the moment the most likely addition will be Paul
Brayson. Paul finished last season on loan at Ninian Park and City and Reading have agreed
a free transfer for the striker. Lee Jones the Bristol Rovers keeper is still being mentioned as a possible target. Of the players possibly going out Jason Fowler is the only player not to sign a contract that has been offered. It appears he will leave City and sign for either Swindon, Reading or Brentford. The local papers this afternoon suggest Schwinke is attracting interest from a Greek club (I thought it was a Turkish club a week or two ago). Chris Roberts has been linked with Exeter in the Echo, and with Shrewsbury on Teamtalk.com. Dai Thomas also with Shrewsbury according to teamtalk but no interest from anyone according to the Echo. Seamus is still linked with St Pats and Bohemians in Dublin and now Cliftonville in Northern Ireland. Jamie Hughes is not linked to anyone at the moment. Former City striker Tony Bird has joined Jan Molby at Kidderminster and he could be joined by another City old boy Lee Jarman. |
