Willie Boland will miss todays game against Southend at Ninian Park. Willie, who has been in top form lately, suffered an ankle injury at Underhill on Saturday. He could be out for a few weeks.

Early indications are that City will bring in Jason Fowler (who repleced Boland on Saturday), and leave the rest of the side unchanged.

City will be urged on by another big crowd at Ninian Park. Sam Hammam's five representatives, who were drawn out at last weeks agme, will hand over £3.1m for the purchase of Cardiff City FC. I think the final t crossing and i dotting will be completed on Tuesday 29th Aug but to all intents and purposes todays game is Sam and Bobby's first game at the helm of the good ship Cardiff City.
