tod.jpg (2563 bytes)Reports from Scotland today suggest that Bobby Gould could be offering £50,000 for Dunfermline Athletic defender Andy Tod. Tod it appears can also play further up the park as well. The word utility has been used.

28 year old Tod nearly moved to Preston before the start of the season after David Moyes offered £100,000 for the player but Pars manager Jimmy Calderwood rejected the offer claiming Tod was rated at £500,000.

Tod cannot gain a first team place after Dunfermline brought in new signings in the summer. He is currently being kept out of the side by Andrius Skerla.

Bobby Gould was in Scotland on Monday this week and watched Tod play for Dunfermline reserves against Hibs.

City also have two trial players at Ninian park. 23 year old forward Jason Harris is down from this weekends opponents Hull City and youth team goalkeeper Jon Worsnop is from Bradford City.
