Cardiff's game against Lincoln City at Ninian Park on Friday 6th October could be called off.

City have three players in the Welsh U21 squad and are within their rights to postpone the game. The three players, Rob Earnshaw, Kevin Evans and Daniel Gabbidon are all in the current City starting XI.

Its a great acheivement for the players involved. If the game is postponed then City have to face the next three league games away from home. Hull City this coming Saturday, Leyton Orient on the 14th of October and Carlisle on the 17th October. The next league match at Ninian Park would not be until Oct 21st when City entertain Mansfield.

The U21 players will also miss the City's first two FAW Cup games, firstly they play Cwmbran at Ninian Park on Tuesday Oct 3rd and then Merthyr at Ninian Park on Tuesday Oct 10th.
