This afternoon the beer flowed and the fans had a party. It was not a quiet little affair between a few mates it was all out celebration. Imagine the scene. A few hundred City fans, live telephone / radio links with Sam Hammam in New York, Steve Borley in Florida, TV Crews from Sky, reporters from the National and local media.

What was planned to be a march to Ninian Park to show Sam Hammam how much we cared about his involvement and how much passion we have turned in to a party, several of the fans turning up to show their support did not realise that it was party time, they were still expecting to march. Fans had alrready started to arrive in Cardiff to offer their support for Sam before they realised he had done the deal and the day was to be a day of fun and enjoyment.

For those who are regular readers of the messageboard / chatroom I can tell you that I personally saw Tinnboy, Nigelblues, Aeneas, AGW, Bluebird Webwatcher, Lost in Splott, Jake, Andy, ForeverBlue, Com, Julian Jenkins, Ealing Blue, Whitey and about 20 others who's names I've forgotten. It was a great afternoon and it proved not only to ourselves, not only to the local press but also to the national media that we have the most passionate bunch of fans around.

Thanks for everyone for turning up. If you listen to the BBC links below you will hear how we have hooked Sam Hammam to our club. Its our passion that has him coming to Ninian Park. He went live on Radio Wales today and called us  "bastards" for sucking him in.
