The loan striker from a Premiership club, that Billy Ayre was hoping to bring in turns out to be 20 year old David Healy. The striker was only available after signing a 4 year contract with Sir Alex Ferguson. He has now signed but has opted to go on loan to Port Vale instead.

Theres no further news on new players but Billy says having Rob Earnshaw and Craig Middleton back will be like having two new signings in the squad.

Earnshaw of course is available for tonight and Middleton returns to Wales on Sunday.
