City striker Dai Thomas and fan Annis Abraham were last night shown on BBC's Panarama program in the middle of the violence in Brussels prior to Englands Euro 2000 match against Germany. Annis has responded in the Echo today saying he is innocent of any involvement and may sue the BBC for showing him in a bad light. Steve Borley commenting on the issue said he was shocked to see Dai Thomas involved. The Club will view the footage again before deciding on what action to take. Dai, who is already on the transfer list could be inbreach of contract. Annis could rceive a ban from the Club. |
