Kurt Nogan this morning completed his £100,000 move to Ninian Park. Personal terms were agreed last night and the player passed his medical and signed all the forms this morning. Due to the protocol it was not possible to get him registered in time to play tonight. Kurt will make his debut on Saturday against Reading at the Madjeski Stadium.

Kurt has signed a deal to keep him at Ninian Park until the end of the 2001 / 2002 season. There is a one year opion in the contract.

29 year old Nogan is from Cardiff and he is relishing the chance to play for his home town club.

Cardiff will pay £50,000 immediately and complete the payment in June. The money has been made available to cash strapped City by the Bluebirds 2000 shares fund and from money squeezed out by the directors. Congratulations to all concerned in making another quality signing.

Nogan has had a lean season so far but has not been a regular in the Preston team. Last season he topped the Northenders scoring table with 21 goals. His most memorable goal this season was against cardiff at Ninian in January when Preston inflicted our heaviest defeat of the season. (0 - 4)
