| Tues 21st March 2000 - Nogan agrees terms | |
| March Headlines |
Kurt Nogan last night agreed personal terms with Cardiff City and will sign for the Bluebirds this morning. The paperwork is set to be completed before midday thus enabling the striker to start against Chesterfield tonight. The news was broken on the website messageboard last night and as soon as I have the final confirmation that the papers are finalised I will let you know. Nogan is costing £100,000. City are believed to be making a 50% down payment and then completing the payment at a future date. I understand this to be normal practice anyway. Bluebirds 2000, the share club set up by fans for the fans to help the football club have supplied the cash to be able to do the deal. Well done to all concerned. After last Fridays thrilling 3 - 2 victory over Colchester, Cardiff will go into tonights game with new hope and of course a new striker. Nogans arrival will compensate for the loss of Kevin Nugent for the next three games. When Kevin returns we will have the dream team of Nugent / Nogan hoping to fire in the goals that will keep Cardiff in Division 2. |
