Merthyr have lost interest in borrowing Seamus Kelly from Cardiff City. The Martyrs first choice keeper Neil Thomas has come into form again so Kelly is not required. Kelly has been assistant to Hallworth all season but with the arrival of Ian Feuer has has dropped to No. 3 in the pecking order.

City also have Pat Jennings jr and youth keeper Phil Buttery on the books.
