Gethin Jones was stretchered from the field at Ninian Park this afternoon with what appears to be a broken leg. Jones was playing for the reserves against Plymouth when he was injured. He needed treatment on the pitch and was carried off. Its bad news for Jones and Cardiff City as the youngster has shown great composure in his early weeks at Ninian Park. Dai Thomas scored City's goal when he tapped in after a Josh Low shot came back off the woodwork. The City line up included the aforementioned Thomas, Low and Jones as well as Mark Bonner, Kurt Nogan, Jeff Eckhardt, Lee Skelly and Martin Giles.
