The silence that hit Ninian Park at 4.50pm was unbelievable. It was like someone flicking a switch. When Blackpool scored in the 93rd minute the atmosphere at Ninian Park died. City had dominated the game, the defence had kept Blackpool at bay, the midfield were efficient with Willie Boland like a man possesed. Upfront City have unearthed a gem in Paul Brayson, he was a livewire. Nugent was slow today, he battled well but cannot follow up the loose ball. It was Nugent who scored on 35 mins, Brayson accepted a pin point through ball and raced in on goal Nugent was following up and when Brayson was half tackled Kev was on hand to fire home his first goal of the season.

City then took the game to Blackpool and wave after wave of pressure could not force home the crucial second goal.

As the seconds ticked away the atmosphere from over 11,000 fans was incredible the noise was deafening, all we need was the final whistle. But as so often happens the sucker punch came in, Blackpool forrayed forward a cross came over and John Murphy rose to head home the equaliser. The sparce and very disappointing Blackpool 200 went wild.

They will feel retribution for the injury time goal we scored against them last season.

Its early days yet, we are unbeaten and we have the takeover coming soon. Its not a panic time but if ever a lesson needed to be learnt it was that the game lasts for 90 minutes (93 in this case) and you cannot rely on a 1 - 0 lead.

Before the game Mimi the sheep was paraded around the ground and Sam Hammam with his Welsh flag and Welsh Army banner took centre stage before the teams came out.

The new run out song You Love Us by the Manics was totally ruined by the crap PA system.
