City fans, opposed to the reported contract changes in the Sam Hammam takeover, will march on Ninian Park on Saturday.

The amount of feeling generated this afternoon after it was revealed that some of the directors are trying to add clauses to the previously agreed takeover has been immense.

It would appear that 99.9% of City fans are willing to accept Sam Hammam and the prospects he brings. Name changes and identity changes are matters to be sorted out afterwards but Hammam has claimed he will not move City from Cardiff and will not change the name if the fans do not want it changed.

The idea of the march on Saturday is to show not only the board but Hammam as well that the real fans of CCFC want Sam to join Cardiff City and take us forward.

Saturdays march, which will be covered by local press, radio and TV looks like being covered by SKY TV nationally and throughout Europe. Make no mistake the fans want Sam Hammam.

The plan is to walk from the Lansdowne pub on Lansdowne Rd at 3pm to the ground. All City fans are welcome to join in.

This is a peaceful protest to show the board that they are upsetting the very fans they think they are trying to protect.
