| Tues 18th April 2000 - Chesterfield not down yet | |
| April Headlines |
Bottom club Chesterfield have granted themselves a stay of execution. The Spirites visited City's next opponents Oldham tonight and have come away with a 2 - 1 win after being a goal down. Its still a formality that Chesterfield will go down as they have to win all four of their remaining games and rely on everyone else losing. What it does show is that Oldham can be beaten on their home patch. City must take heart from this and go to Boundary Park on Saturday determined to do exactly what Chesterfield have done, get an away win. |
