Reports from todays Echo suggest that City are close to a deal with Man City to sign Tony Vaughan. Cardiff are believed to have offered around £150,000 which Man City may accept but the Bluebirds have to agree personal terms with the player who is reported to be earning around £4,000 a week at Maine Rd.
