kerr.jpg (5180 bytes)The unbelievable changes at Ninian Park are set to continue with the breaking news that Sam Hammam is looking to reveal three new signings over the weekend. It is Sam's policy to bring in players with the ability to play at the highest level. This week he has turned the football world on its head by attracting quality young players away from Premiership teams to join Cardiff City.

Firstly it was revealed that we have lined up the signing of Rhys Weston from Arsenal, the 20 year old Wales U21 captain will sign on Monday. Sam has now revealed that there will be two other players joining Rhys. News has broken that the second player is 26 year old goalkeeper Stewart Kerr from Glasgow Celtic. Kerr has played in SPL but is third choice keeper behind Dimitri Kahrine and Jonathon Gould at the moment. It has been previously reported that Kerr was looking for a move from Celtic Park to get first team football. Like all players approched the task of persueding them to drop to Div 3 is a big hurdle to overcome. But one by one the players ae coming. Sam Hammam is creating a squad absolutely brimming with quality and potential.

Weston, Kerr and a third player as yet un-named will be introduced to the crowd at Ninian Park at 11:30am on Sunday before the game against Bristol Rovers. Part of the selling job on these players is to convince them that the club is going places. Get to Ninian Park early and show these lads that their future is here in Cardiff.
