City eased into the FAW Premier Cup frinal with a 8 - 1 aggregate win over caernarfon. Danny Hill scored after 8 mins and Kevin Nugent added a second on 21 mins. caernarfon scored after 23 mins when Seamus failed to clear a cross. His poorly timed run out and punch only suceeded in knocking Scott Young out cold. Tommy Wingrove was left with an open goal and he headed in. Soon after though Nugent scored his second. It stayed that way until the 88th minute when Paul Brayson got his first goal for the club.

City's main concern will be the hamstring injury to Jeff Eckhardt. He missed the last 20 mins of the game. City then played on with 10 men as they had already made their two outfield substitutions.

City will play either Barry or Wrexham in the final. The Robins have a 4 goal lead though which Barry will attempt to overturn at Jenner Park on Tuesday night. If as expected Wrexham make the final then the venue will be decided with the toss of a coin. Wrexham will be looking to host a third final in a row.
