Same time, same day, same number of people left on the pitch at the end and most importantly for City fans same scoreline, as the FA Cup game as last Saturday.

Cardiff were overall too good for a Cheltenham side who again had a man sent off for violent conduct. The time it was Duff who received mis marching orders only minutes into the second half. Cheltenham had 4 other players booked and were niggling all the time.

Leo gave City the lead with an acrobatic overhead kick on 30 mins. Just a few minutes after the Robins went down to 10 men Rob Earnshaw stole in and rounded the keeper to make it 2 - 0. City were cruising and never looked in danger until sunstitute Devanney pulled a goal back with 10 mins to go  but any neveres were soon lost when right from the restrat Paul Brayson burst through on goal and Chipped Book in the Cheltenham goal.

Book in the first half looked a bit dodgy but in the second half he pulled off two breathtaking saves that stiopped Leo for getting a hat trick.

City now move into 4th place with games in hand. Leaders Chesterfielf and second placed Brighton both lost.

Rhys Weston was class today, Low was given man of the match and even when he's having a quiet game you can't keep Earnie down.
