Ian Feuer, currently on a monthly contract at Ninian Park is being targetted by West Ham Utd. The Hammers are looking for cover for the injured Shaka Hislop and Feuer, who has played for the Hammers before is one of their targets.

I think it would be a crime to let him go. He has not had a chance at first team action yet, he has been put on the bench for the first team games and has impressed in reserve team games. If West Ham are going to offer him a deal until the end of the season at least then I'm sure he will go. We may get our only chance to see him in action if he plays against Aberystwyth tonight. Come on Billy, give him a go.

Report from Teamtalk.
West Ham boss Harry Redknapp's list of replacements for injured 'keeper Shaka Hislop is said to include former Hammer Ian Feuer. The giant American stopper spent a spell as Ludo Miklosko's deputy without making a first team league start in 1994. After Feuer left Upton Park he performed heroics for Conference outfit Rushden & Diamonds in the F.A Cup last season and is now on a short term contract at Ninian Park. Redknapp is anxious to have someone lined up on loan for the rest of the season, but at least has the saving grace that West Ham aren't in action this weekend. West Ham currently only have youth keepers Stephen Bywater and Lee Richards at their disposal with Hislop's break and Craig Forrest's Canadian
duty.
